I was at the panel for John Lewis' March & March 2. He was amazing, but so was his former aide and co-writer, Adam. I got lots of nice pics, but if you can find the video of his speech and the whole event, please, do yourself a favor and watch the whole thing.
I was never so embarrassed as when we moved to Georgia in the 70s. Despite my being a teen kid, black men older than my father kept saying 'sir' when they addressed me. To me that is the evil distilled for all to see, that such fear can exist. And probably still does in places.
