Did you all have a nice weekend? We did! And Melania Trump did! She represented the Trump family at the funeral for Barbara Bush, which, regardless of your politics, was a lovely event. Donald Trump had a weekend of golf and Twitter, and, though it was entirely appropriate for him to skip the funeral as the sitting president, the difference between his weekend and his wife's weekend sure did make for quite a contrast!
I hope that's not something you've had to experience for yourself. But I just was reading some other stuff (on Yahoo of all places) and I read a comment that said as they were all walking in towards their seats, that Bill and Hillary and the Obamas and the Bushes' all waited for her to catch up and deferred to her to take her seat first. I don't know if that's true--I hope someone who was watching can say one way or another--but again, it speaks volumes about the things you learn from having been in a situation (being the Prez) that none of us will ever understand.
Had you spent most of your Sundays as a youth in uncomfortable dress-up clothes waiting for the “coffee and cookie reception downstairs, after the service”, that look would have been most familiar.
And you would have *never* interpreted that quite funny comment as negative in any way.
I hope Melania divorces his ass while in office. Make some history of your own Mel. It would be another flaming pile of dogshit that he would be forced to try to keep juggling...
She really does look genuinely happy chatting with Obama. Juxtapose it with the photo when she met the Pope with her husband wearing funeral garb and looking like she wished it was her own funeral (or any other photo with Trump). I don't like her, but all the money in the world couldn't make me put up with the endless humiliations her husband puts her through.
i don't think she has ever had a free choice in men before now. somebody had to be her first, somebody had to smuggle her out, then she interviewed guys until she settled on trump. no choice for her until she gets divorced, after using the daniels case to void the pre-nup.
