As predicted , poor John Stumpf is taking the fall for a few thousand rogue employees unable to achieve on a level field of play. On Wednesday, the Wells Fargo CEO resigned in 9-figure shame . Keep your chin up, little fella. Some may say the chief executive who pushed his people to push their people to push customers to open a bunch of unneccessary accounts effectively signed off on the widespread retail banking fraud. But Stumpf obviously couldn't sign off on anything. Look at
Warren is the non-insider Trump voters claim to crave, yet I hear the misogynists in my family calling her the c-word for acting like what they want to see in white men with R- after their names.
Also, nothing will make me love Kennedy. He's helpful for gay rights, yes, but that has been all. Otherwise he's a self-interested asshole, and another justice would do the same good with less bad.
She can get at them in that position. She is the watch dog they are scared of. And I certainly do not see her as "the little lady". I have tremendous respect for her and the job she is doing.
Here is Wonkette fawning all over Warren when she costs one oligarch his job. Where is Wonkette when it comes to the emails describing a deliberate plant of Teddy Roosevelt's 'square deal' in Hillary's $260,000 Deutche Bank speech, and the plan to selectively leak it? Oh, that's right, Wikileaks perverts and Russian communists made it all up, didn't they? (crickets)
One goddamned minute: "corporate persons" are *artificial* person. They are not citizens (right after that fruitcake decision, an ad agency tried to register to run for office, and was denied). Since they are not citizens, why should they have any expectation of free political speech?
And if I sound *REALLY* angry, 20 years ago, during the telecom dereg, I was working for Ameritech (former Baby Bell, swallowed by SBC later), and Dick Freakin' Notebart, (can't remember if he was head of Ameritech or just of our division) sent out an email telling us to write our Congresscritters and Senators in favor it deregulation. And when I put it off, my Director emailed me an apology, but said that they were putting pressure on him to lean on everyone that hadn't written the letter... *AND* sent a copy to Notebart.
No political speech (or money) rights for ANY for-profit company, or any organization that's funded more than 50% by them.
I wondering if this has to do with the reason the SEC case against Paxton was dismissed. he's still on the hook with the state. I'm going to dig into it and see if I can get some other people to as well since I'm not a lawyer.
He created the Consumer Protection Bureau. He rescued the economy. He rescued the American auto industry. He appointed a moderate to run the Fed (no small thing after years of Alan "Ayn Rand" Greenspan).
Yes, we do need stronger regulation of banking and securities markets, but most of that will require laws written and passed by Congress, not unilateral action by the president. So once again I say: We need a Senate majority urgently.
Thanks. I especially enjoy the completely empty balconies.

I wish I could do snark.
Nonononono. Warren for Senate! She can't do this as president.
prolly Aqualung also too, given his penchant for eyeing little girls with bad intent and snot streaming down his nose, and whatnot.

I appeal to the denizens of the Wonkette Sekrit Chatcave:

That is all.
