I grew up pre-internet, and the best thing about that was not being constantly exposed to endless amounts of idiots. We just had to deal with the ones in our immediate vicinity. It really was better not knowing.

I really doubt it. The loans he secured with Tesla stock are going to tank Tesla's value, which is his main wealth. Also, he's likely going to be on the hook personally in the EU for a lot GDPR violations. (Their only GDPR Compliance Officer just quit, and the company is required to have one, for example.) Corporate shield doesn't protect against deliberate illegal behavior, and Musk (as sole owner) is likely screwed.
