i'd like to point out that if you've met one person with autism... you've met one person with autism. They are not all genius's with social awkwardness. They, like not autistic people, vary in intelligence, struggle with different aspects of life, and do well in different areas. The whole 'paint with a wide brush' bullshit really irks me. People are people, we're all different.
