Am I wrong? It seems to me that a demand for his platform is a hacker wet dream- I have not coded for a while, but damn, you could've given credit card info.
Agreed. We were chucking when he said they "fixed it in 24 hours." What happens when the robots figure out how to take over the world in 12 hours, hmmm?
According to your logic, Musk is "an extremely talented project manager" who "either hired (or didn't fire) someone used to taking shortcuts that should never be allowed on mission critical software." That sounds self-contradictory.
I don't disagree with you that engineers, programmers, developers, etc. make mistakes, and you have shown us many examples to prove it. But so do project managers, as Musk is proving over and over.
What many people are saying here is that someone like Musk should never be allowed to oversee changes to mission critical software, no matter how talented he might be. It seems self-evident to me.
Nothing I don't think. But who knows. I'm probably as horny as the next gazabo. Ads for Only Fans and the like, explicit. And once an actual cllp trying to get me to link to some actual porn site.
Musk is pissing off some people who could almost certainly cripple the Twitter code base in ways that do not look intentional and could take a tremendous amount of manpower to tease out and correct. I'm not saying they should... but they could....
One of the best ST:TOS episodes.
Hasn't happened to me yet, weird but thank gods. What are you talking about on twit that attracts the porn anyway?

I'm sure there were and are women geniuses in rocketry. Rocketry is not a he-man woman-hater club (no girls allowed!).
I think it is like a stripped down myspace.
API changes usually have wide ranging consequences. You should take that into account whenever you change an API.
"I don't always Test, but when I do, it's in Production."~ E. Musk
Two clever!
Elon knows he needs oversight.
The proper agency to proved such would be USPS.Part of their mission is to guarantee secure communications.
He has a pretty good hold on her.
USPS is supposed to guarantee secure communication. That's it's main mission.

Yep. I'm sure he will one day, it seems right-wing politics is a game for the idle rich
