"Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA"

`

Charlie Kirk is a twit with a giant head and a tiny face, who thinks the female orgasm is a myth.

It's utterly impossible to unsee that face-to-head ratio. I love how this site turns loathsome into laughter.

Satire and ridicule have been a defensive weapon for the powerless against the powerful since the days of the court jesters.

You notice they don't play "Hold On, I'm Coming" at the rallies anymore.

WTAF J. Merrick Garland? The Philadelphia DA has more balls in his pinky fingernail than you have in your entire existence. Worthless pond scum you are.

Expand full comment

Ta, Marcie. Criming in plain sight.

Expand full comment

isn't threatening the district attorney of a large american city a crime of some sort?...

Expand full comment

If Batman is a reliable source, the answer is "maybe." Except when the DA gets half his face burned off by acid and turns into a supervillain himself.

Criminal threats and incitement to crime are themselves crimes that Skum and Rump commit on the reg. We need to come down hard on the billionaire crime wave.

I suspect Trump actually has a well financed ground game, its just focused on thug-jacking the post-election process.

Co worker of mine opined the other day that if Trump doesn't win, his supporters will get violent, so maybe it is best if he does win. My face must have been saying more than I was, because she instantly back tracked on that.

Something something trade freedom for safety.

"if Trump doesn't win, his supporters will get violent"

`

If we become afraid to act because some domestic terrorists might become violent, we might as well just turn out the lights on American democracy.

I would never canvass in a red region. I don't wish to end up shot.

Expand full comment

Q: why do people still think that canvassing works? I just don't see how it moves the needle. Any hot takes on that?

Evidence is it works better than TV ads.

If it works then great! Just because I don't see how it does doesn't mean that it doesn't.

@elonmusk

The second Trump Presidency will be the most fun America has had in a while.

It’s gonna be awesome! 😎

Musk is just so disingenuous ( and dishonest ) when claiming that Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner was trying to get the case before a "leftist judge". He already used the Fifth Circuit court of Appeals to overturn the NLRB finding of unfair labor practices in a 2018 case involving Musk threatening ( on Twitter ) to withhold stock options from Tesla employees seeking a union. This is separate from his comments in that recent interview he did with PAB, where he just claimed he would fire any employee that tried to unionized - another blatant violation of labor law.

He probably not only wants this case moved to "federal court", but to move the case to a specific court - like that Fifth Circuit court ( even tho' the "jurisdiction" of the Fifth Circuit is nowhere near PA or any other "battleground" state )

Expand full comment

That would be the 5th Circuit already infested with such Carl Schmitt apostles as Matt "Andrarchy" Kacsmaryk and James "I'm a FedSoc" Ho.

Expand full comment

I know I started this talking about Musk's likely "judge shopping" to the Fifth Circuit while trying to portray the Philadelphia DA as trying to "judge shop" to a liberal judge.

Well, less than one day later we see a perfect example of Republicans openly judge shopping - PAB has decided to sue CBS over his claims about the Harris interview edits in the court presided over by Matthew Kacsmaryk

[ gift link ]: https://wapo.st/4f7cGPR

[ Apparently Kacsmaryk sits on the Northern District of Texas federal court, which is overseen by the Fifth District Court of Appeals. Kacsmaryk is the only judge at that Northern District, which is why it's such a favorite of Republicans ]

Kacsmaryk is a christo-fascist and a phallocrat. A power to the penis kind of guy.

He's certainly a poster boy for the need to more easily remove federal judges

I was trying to remember the names of the worst ones on that bench

Disingenuous doesn't even begin to describe it to me. Musk is a childish, petulant dudebro convinced that he can do anything if he throws enough money at it. Imagine this shriveled little attention baby in charge of the government workforce.

Expand full comment

I called him disingenuous because he knows he's wrong, but is pretending otherwise. It's a trait many MAGAs share, as well as dishonesty.

FElon is running for the same reason as PAB, to stay out of the courts and possibly out of jail. There are multiple legal issues facing his house of cards, and he's pretty fucked on many of them.

Their phonebanking is crap as well. Nearly impossible to find the dialer unless you save the location as a bookmark. No virtual phonebank events, they are all local. The dialer is buggy, too (calls crashed before connecting). There's no information they give about how/where to vote. Absolutely day and night when comparing b/t our phonebanks and theirs. I f**king love it when evil seeds its own demise.

Treating your blitzers like "illegals" packed into a u-haul and kept in the dark about what the job is and stiffing them? Surely there are no white PAB-supporters who would be garbagey enough to fall for such a scheme.

This reads like a bad copy of American Honey where they drop people off to canvas a neighborhood but at least have rooms and get paid every day.

Putting Charlie, badly drawn boy, Kirk in charge was a huge mistake. Did anyone check and see if he bought a new house or yacht recently.

He also just realized that due to the ground game being so bad, that they are gonna lose PA because women are voting in droves ahead of time. Sad, who'd thunk getting all up in our ladies parts would be a bad plan?

Literally EVERYONE!

> Musk was ordered to show up in court today, but he did not, and is instead trying to delay and move his case to federal court.

It looks like he was successful in that: https://www.cnbc.com/2024/10/31/elon-musk-seeks-to-move-1-million-voter-lottery-lawsuit-to-federal-court.html

'A lawsuit by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office seeking to block Elon Musk and his political action committee from continuing to award $1 million prizes to swing state voters will be heard — for now at least — in federal court in Pennsylvania.

'But John Summers, a lawyer for Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner told reporters that he will quickly seek to have the lawsuit transferred back to the state-level court where Krasner filed the lawsuit Monday.'
