Yep, my first thought was "either/or fallacy"

Unfortunately, the GNR song is much less funny in light of how many domestic assault charges Axel Rose has racked up in his lifetime. He is so gross. =/

Your parents have been married for 17,000 years? Good on 'em. What exactly are the anniversary gifts for the years north of, say, 75? Well, not all of them (Katie); maybe just hit the highlights--100, 250, 500, 1000, etc

The proper gift for the 17,000th anniversary is "solar systems."

I didn't think so at the time, but those Kathy Griffin photos are starting to seem pretty funny as time goes by. BTW, Kathy had to divorce her husband for stealing about $80000 from her. And right after she bought that expensive house for them. I'd be feisty too.

Um, does she ever *listen* to some of the songs those folks sing? One line from a Dead song strikes me, "I didn't know that goodbye meant don't let me go".

Now, there's some nonfeminist mainstream thinking on *both* parties' parts.... I think feminist, or actually, not stupid mainstream thinking, would be a conversation starting with "I don't want to go...."

But of *course* she doesn't want to be doormats, they can't Obey Their Owners, er, Husbands if they're flat on the floor...

The only reason it was funny was I thought it was hyperbole.

I heard her say not too long ago that it was about David Geffen, which surprised me, since I always thought it was about Beatty.

She "claims" verse 2 is about Beatty. There's a great anecdote in her book about her going to her therapist all ragged out after a 2am visit from Warren Beatty. She tells her therapist about the great sex and he says," I don't know if I should tell you this but, You aren't the first patient I've had today who had sex with Warren last night, or even the second." She does say there were others who did not know they were the inspiration for the song.

I did too at first. And then after I heard about him being a grade-A tool, it's impossible for me to listen to. I cringe.

True that biker-chic look appeals to some, I guess.
