Evan Bayh is an assclown, making the "only 22% of the country says they're liberal, therefore everyone else must agree with the conservatives on every major issue" argument, in the N.Y. Times today... <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2010..." target="_blank">" rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/03/opinion/03bayh....">http://www.nytimes.com/2010...

He claims 32% is conservative, which to him seems to mean they should get whatever they want even if their ideas are discredited.

We're fucked.

It's a bit ironical that Barry spent the last 2 years wanting to work with the Repugs (usually to the detriment of his own base). Now he can do just that. Be careful what you wish for, Dude.

The People made a clear statement yesterday: They can be convinced by any huckster playing to racist/nativist fears.

Go for immigration reform, Barry!

<i>...In fact, instead of coming up with glib one-liners, the Republicans will have to come up with actual nuanced policies, perhaps even vote on things.</i> Whoa, whoa, whoa!! Let's not get carried away here. I'm sure the Republicans can go for years on "cut taxes".
