A baby-fucker's life in stir ain't worth a twisted sheet. That said, if the government had wanted to keep him alive, they could have done that.

Harriet Hagemann, who replaced Liz Cheney as representative from Wyoming, thought she could beat our man, Jamie Raskin at verbal fisticuffs:

Bitch needs to be sent packing and, by the way, Wyoming you are dumb.

So weird that the narcissist who had all the evidence of all the sex crimes against children committed by the world's richest and most powerful would kill himself.

Babe Paley's avatar

All that plus the last time he was charged (without a friend as president) he basically skated and his personal life didn’t suffer. Why wouldn’t he think the same thing wouldn’t happen this time?

No need to check in on a dead guy.

I'm starting to have some empathy for conspiracy theorists. Cause this sure feels like a conspiracy.

Just because you're paranoid

Don't mean they're not after you

VelveetaSneeze's avatar

Someone's going to have to coin a phrase about conspiracy theories similar to the one about paranoia ("doesn't mean they aren't after you"). Either that, or somehow defang or de-MAGA the term itself, but that seems highly unlikely after the last decade.

I used to have a way with words, but that was pre-complex PTSD. Anyone want to take a crack at it?

Mad Ophelia's avatar

Years ago I had a button that said "The complete and total lack of evidence is a sure sign that the conspiracy is working."

Just because it's a highly-coordinated, well-planned series of events that protect some of the most powerful people on the planet doesn't mean it's a conspiracy.

I think Epstein thought too highly of himself to deprive the world of his superior whatever.

Fascinating connection btween Epstein and 4Chan's Poole right before /pol/ launched. That 2011 email about "potential for manipulation" being "huge" is wild. Been tracking disinfo campaigns for years and the timeline here makes QAnon's deflection tactics look way less organic. Classic psyop move to flood the zone with misinfo about everyone except the actual perpetrators.

VelveetaSneeze's avatar

"Classic psyop move to flood the zone with misinfo about everyone except the actual perpetrators." My first thought, too, but I also thought misinfo *and* disinfo. Fuckers.

Ambiance Chaser's avatar

I believe anyone who knows how to read these things realized QAnon was about as "organic" as the Tea Party . . .

Whomever posted the Rebecca Watson links, thanks for those. I hadn't seen her before. She's funny.

I’m starting to think the Pedo Ring stole the 2016 election, and probably 2024 as well.

Sit beside me. I've thought it from the beginning.

GoldStar's avatar

Can we please refer to ICE as the Pedo Defense Force from now on.

VelveetaSneeze's avatar

Well, if the shoe fits, we should shove it so very far up their asses. ICE isn't merely their Defense force, though; they're also their purveyors. If anyone hasn't realized that ICE is supplying new child victims, then you're probably too squeamish to face the facts of this new world order Trump and Co. have been ushering in since 2016.

The videos, films, digital files, photos, and recordings that Epstein accumulated over 40 years of blackmail, conspiracy, rape, and abuse of teens by the very rich, powerful, connected, sexual exploiters of the politicians, Oligarchs, monarchs, and presidents in several positions.

The upper echelon, in general. What a disappointment Noam Chomsky turned out to be. *vomits*

clairence's avatar

I've watched enough movies and tv to know that any conspiracy to kill Epstein would include someone dressed as an inmate because that would draw the least suspicion, and also place suspicion elsewhere.

Every day another Drumpf crime is committed.

My Erdos Number Is Five's avatar

He is the crime. Can’t prosecute his dead parents though.

tehbaddr's avatar

Probably more than one a day, I'd go with a half a dozen at least.

FukuiSanYesOta's avatar

He commits a crime every time he wakes up for a new day.

tehbaddr's avatar

He's a walking crime against nature.

"it should not have been possible for an inmate in the SHU to be freely wandering around the cell blocks around midnight either." There's a gentleman named Otis on the line, say he's from Mayberry. Would like to have a word .
