He makes a good living, so there's that. He's 62, so the sack isn't really a thing, anymore. Not until one of his buddies starts to talk about performance enhancing boner pills, which they haven't done yet.

Optimist. I have been reading up on McCarthyism (it was a lot worse than even its reputation) and the party has been heading to where it is for 80 years. The party is not going togo back to the era of Ralph Flanders. Ever.

Will it go the other way, to extinction? Not as long as the 1789 Constitution overweights the yeoman farmer under his vine and figtree (Jefferson's worst idea). Marx's best idea was 'rural imbecility.'
