And while we’re at it, let’s talk about the Supreme Court… also known as the MAGA Politburo. They ruled Trump has to do something he doesn’t want to do, but don’t hold your breath. The real takeaway? Sam Alito remains a deranged theocratic ghoul. Whatever decision is coming on abortion, it’s not going to be good. Exhibit A: The DOJ just greenlit Idaho’s right to let women die in ERs rather than provide life-saving abortions. America 2025! Where your uterus has fewer rights than a corporation.
Meanwhile, our forests are about to get chainsawed into oblivion. Apparently, America wasn’t committing enough ecocide. Nothing quite screams "steward of the Earth" like clear-cutting 280 million acres of national forests… probably so some oil executive can buy another yacht the size of a high school football field.
And, for the cherry on top? The bald eagle is now a raging little nationalist asshole! It’s attacking Canada because, at this point, even the birds have absorbed MAGA’s toxic exceptionalism. Perfect metaphor.
This is the part where I say “go vote,” but that’s not enough. It’s time to get LOUD, get ORGANIZED, and treat this like the full-blown crisis it is! Your decorum isn’t going to save you. Your "bipartisanship" isn’t going to save you. And looking the other way sure as hell isn’t going to save anyone.

Likewise with the Marcy Kaptur race in OH-09. She went from carrying the district by 13 percent in 2022 (56% of the vote) to carrying the district by less than 1 percent in 2024 (48% of the vote). Three candidates in the general election. The Libertarian candidate got 4%, the Republican got 47.6 % of the vote. It’s a pretty urban district, includes part of Toledo. The district went for Trump by 53-48 over Biden. Kaptur about as well as Sherrod Brown. It’s about 75% white.
Just going to post this here again; if you want to *really* give the damn milquetoast Democrats some incentive to *FUCKING*DO*SOMETHING*, donate as much as you can to Al Green’s campaign fund, because nothing speaks like money.

I know the Gluesenkamp Perez race was close; she's had to battle that Proud Boy, Joe Kent, pretty tightly for the last two elections.
