Pat Robertson is just the latest rightwinger to decide that, as of right now, the Iraq War wasn't such a terrific idea after all. Not that George W. Bush sold us the war based on a pack of lies or anything -- he was just misled by the flawed intelligence, don't you know. But on Tuesday's episode of the

Just because the Vietnamese hosted the Vietnam War doesn't means the Vietnamese were contestants in the Vietnam War,
Where we differ is that you see the Vietnam War as a foreign policy issue while I see it as a domestic issue. The context of the Vietnam War was that Harry Truman lost China in 1947 and LBJ was afraid the Republicans were going to accuse him of losing Vietnam. Before you dismiss me as a crank, see Juan Bosch's Pentagonism (1967). It may be out of print but if you Google it you can get Bosch's basic point.
Yes because as Christian conservatives are always reminding us, it is never right to hold people accountable for their actions....when they're Republican.
"Iraq was a big mistake because it did not bring the end of times like I've been praying for."There fixed it for him. Also, too, Bush let himself be lied to. He wanted revenge on Saddam and any reason that made it possible wasn't going to be questioned.
Gee, Pat... if the president "was being fed a tissue of lies," and the "faulty" intelligence "was a snow job to try to sell that war," then I have to ask... just who, exactly, do you think was behind the feeding that "tissue of lies" to the president "to try to sell that war"?
I heard that the Japanese slang word for barfing is "Bushushiru". I hope that's true.

A part of Africa IS about to get a new white queen. It would seem colonialism is not over.
Without Pat or anything even remotely resembling him.
