this section must not be in ted's bible Ted Cruz -- he of the most punchable face in Christendom and everywhere else -- decided to get up in front of God and everyone else on Monday and lie his weak-chinned little face off. We realize that this is a statement that inspires the same surprise as noting that a day ends in -y, but still. So what, exactly, did Punchy-face say that simply reconfirms he has not even the barest of nodding acquaintance with the truth? Oh, just the usual stuff about how heathens are literally hunting down The Youth and imprisoning them for even thinking about praying or
I've lived in Texas 22 years and I approve and agree with this message. (I'm one of a handful of people where I work who don't attend a religious institution of any kind). Also too, Baylor University has a requirement for all who teach in that system that they affirm that they attend a religious institution weekly (Jews can be hired and must attend temple) Baptists preferred
A friend who was highly qualified for a job there was Jewish and I believe that her resume was quietly thrown in the trash. Between her name and her CV they knew she was not a Jesus humper.
I just wish that someone would get to the interview portion and then reveal that they were a devout member of the Satanists.
It's funny that, for all his worry about threatening teenaged girls, Teddy and friends had nothing to say about the death and rape threats sent to Jessica Ahlquist when she asked her public school to remove a prayer from the wall a few years ago, nor did they protest when her state legislator publicly called her an "evil little thing" for reminding her school district about the First Amendment.
Princess Angela probably did not need police protection to go to school.
Nine years of catholic school. Nine. Long. Years. And they never did splain it to my satisfaction. For some reason, they changed 'ghost' to 'spirit', but its function is still kinda murky.

Thank you, Snipy!!! Ostentatious Christianism. That's definitely a thing.
WHY DON'T MORE PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THIS???
Pfft...next you'll be telling us Jesus wanted to help poor people.
THANK YOU.
That whole NPR interview had me yelling at the radio. Cruz was appalling throughout.
Inskeep should have gotten hazard pay for that interview, in case he catches some of the smarm.

That's very Christian to threaten to kill someone!
Because only atheists actually read the Bible?
Oh yes... it's just like Republican Jeebus did!!
If I write something like "Cruz is an establishment disingenuous self-righteous anachronistic demagogue full of bull shit" will it be deleted?
