Given that it's IOKIYAR, i am not holding my breath.PS: I have an alternative acronym, namely IOKiffYAR, where iff is the mathematical logical expression for if and only if.I think that is MOAR betterer and more accuraterer IMHO.

3 million more votes. And this after being attacked by the far left, the right and a hostile nation. A woman who has served her country well, and is principally responsible for saving the lives of several children of clients of mine. Her work with SCHIP, now CHIP and going by the name Kidcare in my state saved lives. Those kids are now productive adults thanks to that program. Neither Sanders nor Stein saved their lives, Clinton's work did. Please Clinton bash elsewhere.

"Fully 76% of his supporters think he always tells the truth", but that could true when there are only 100 of them left on the planet. I'm impressed that only 21% of the public would "definitely" vote again for the shitgibbon - I've long pegged the hopelessly stupid demographic at 25%.

Of course part of the issue is that "entertainment time" has now...let's say "illegally occupied"...political lives so seamlessly ham-fistedly that people can no longer distinguish them.

Recently spent a few weeks in New Zealand and Australia...got more sympathetic pats on the back than anything. I met a young American man in Auckland whose two year work/study VISA was soon to expire. He was scared to death of returning home!

Someone could now shoot up a school, killing every student in it and by day after tomorrow it would not even be below the fold. It would be in Section Two. (Not that we still read paper newspapers any more....)

Giving a fuck about Trump fellating Putin pisses off his voters because being put to shame sucks for them and many on our side, the left, feel embarrassed like we are joining the ranks of conspiracy theorists.

My opinion is, it is THE most important story out there. :(

Turn them on to Robert Altemeyer's book THE AUTHORITARIANS. Easy reading for a psychology paper. Explains it all. Sample:"Probably about 20 to 25 percent of the adult American population is so right-wing authoritarian, so scared, so self-righteous, so ill-informed, and so dogmatic that nothing you can say or do will change their minds. They would march America into a dictatorship and probably feel that things had improved as a result. … And they are so submissive to their leaders that they will believe and do virtually anything they are told. They are not going to let up and they are not going away."

Agree and as a general rule I prefer to offer food instead of cash. Once I stopped at a traffic light and a woman was standing there with a sign. I went around the block and went through a drive through and picked up some hot food. When I got back to the traffic light I offered it to her. She took it and with tears running down her face said thank you. She really seemed need it then.

Good. It shouldn't have taken all of this for UA to stop kicking passengers out of paid for seats but here we are.

I'm going to Europe in 134 days (who's counting?) and I am not looking forward to repeating my previous visits during the W years with people asking me to explain WTF George Bush? This idiot makes W look like just a bad idea and not a catastrophe for the world.

You did the right thing. Last Saturday, when my kids and I were walking back to my car from the March for Science, we encountered a gentleman who was asking for help to get a sandwich. As it happens, I had brought sandwiches. So I gave him a sandwich. He then continued straightaway to ask other passersby for help to get a sandwich (which totally confused my kids), but at least I could do something.
