This thing sounds unusable. With the added info that keeps leaking out, I wouldn't step foot in the thing. Doors facing the wrong way? Not enough egress? The kitchen directly under it? No way it has adequate loading facilities or utilities as planned. The high ceilings and hard surfaces make it an audio nightmare. The windows make it a lighting and video nightmare. The huge dangly chandeliers preclude workable rigging.
It might be a big dining room, but it sounds like there aren't even external service corridors on the ballroom level. So a meal-service nightmare as well.
