It is weird how everyone talks about how Trump called for unity. But he didn't.... if you read the statement he did not call for unity or for America to be united. He called for Americans with true character (in Trump world this does not include Democrats, feminists, immigrants, or LGBTQ+) to unite in the fight against evil. We already know what Trump considers evil... Democrats, feminists, immigrants and LGBTQ+

So, in essence, his "unity" statement said that it was time for straight, white, christian men and their families (because those are the only true Americans) to show their straight, white, christian moral character by uniting together to fight the evil left.

Were lawyers to be replaced by doctorate-level rhetoricians, surviving voir dire would be the main event. Just sayin'...

Rwnjs sure do love the word "weaponized." They've started attaching it to everything they don't like. Well, the DOJ *should* be a weapon, against corruption and other high crimes and misdemeanors. That's its purpose, isn't it? That's why it was created, to be just such a weapon.

I'll take you home again, Eileen Across the ocean wild and wide To where your heart has ever been Since you were first my bonnie bride. The roses all have left your cheek. I've watched them fade away and die Your voice is sad when e'er you speak And tears bedim your loving eyes. Oh! I will take you back, Eileen To where your heart will feel no pain And when the fields are fresh and green I'II take you to your home again! To Mar-a Lago, that is, I mean!

Trump can't even express sympathy to the family of his staunch supporter who was killed by the same sniper at the PA rally. Can you imagine if Hillary Clinton had done the same thing in 2016? It would be front page on the NYT for a week. For Trump? Not a peep. We are so fucked right now.

Ken Starr was literally appointed by a three-judge panel under the authority of the 1978 Ethics in Government Act, and he was able to investigate and prosecute a sitting president.

Yeah, but that was a sitting Democratic president so it's different, for reasons.

Hey Turley, you lying sack of shit, remember this?

"...and [the President] shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: BUT THE CONGRESS MAY BY LAW VEST THE APPOINTMENT OF SUCH INFERIOR OFFICERS, AS THEY AS THEY THINK PROPER, IN THE PRESIDENT ALONE, IN THE COURTS OF LAW, OR IN THE HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS."

There's your fucking authority in the Constitution, you gaslighting sleazeball. It seems pretty fucking clear and unambiguous to me asshole, and I seriously doubt that it just slipped your mind.
