Hey government! Get out of the way!

I'll be waiting for the taxpayer-subsidized, updated remake of the classic silent film, "Nanookie of the North."

Because, like Olestra, it gives you the shits?

Please don't use the phrase "services rendered" with Sarah Palin™. Grandma Palin hasn't done anything of value for the past 100 years. Also, makes me think of naughty things.

Alaska exports crazy. Organization of Psycho Exporting Countries?

Alaska gets its money from oil company fees which it redistributes to citizens in cash and services. It's a socialist paradise.

Or remake of the documentary "Nailin' Paylin".

JustPixelz: If you want to have some fun, go on one of the right wing nutsites like "Newsbusters" and point out that Duh Guv'Nor pushed through Socialism.

During her administration (well, half-administration) they passed a "windfall profits tax" on oil companies doing business in the state. As the price of oil rises, so does the tax. This is an addition to the existing oil royalty trust fund.

The state of Alaska takes that money and directly distributes it to the citizens of the State. The oil companies deduct those payments as a business expense, lower their Federal income tax burden (if any) and the citizens of the remaining 49 states subsidizes them because our national government collects less revenue.

Point this out and you'll get some very funny answers - nobody, however, will admit this is pure Socialism.

The Perpetual Victim just posted her defense: One final thought: having to set the record straight on my Facebook page yet again is further proof that the media can’t be trusted even to print a statement in a manner that people can read.
