Also, QuickThaw McGraw is WAAAAAY OFF on the annual numbers of drownings:

"From 2005-2014, there were an average of 3,536 fatal unintentional drownings (non-boating related) annually in the United States — about ten deaths per day. An additional 332 people died each year from drowning in boating-related incidents."

No, but you should blame Mark Burnett every time Donald Trump gets up in public and does anything. The image of Trump cultivated on the Apprentice was what his supporters voted for. It doesn't exactly jive with reality.

"Doctor" Phil has a Phd in HUMANITIES, which just means he stayed in college too long. He's not a physician, and not a licensed therapist. He IS, however a multimillionaire reality TV star with his own podcast now, and he probably took a beating in the stock market lately. He doesnt want to lose any more money on this life-savin' stuff, so y'all get back to work, and if we happen to lose...oh I dont know, maybe an extry coupla hundred thousand of ya, hell he dont care.

I remember the freeway in Utah with the 80 MPH speed limit. I was going five miles over, and I was being passed like I was standing still.

I like Oprah, but she was always soft on science. Her talent was empathy. Not empiricism. Still, how she couldn't see thru Oz & Phil, I don't get. Those two virtually rode into town in a covered "medicine" wagon, in ragged top hats and tails, with a dancing monkey who flitted through the crowd picking billfolds and pocket watches.

They'd be the worst, except they're not because, damn we are in a deep, dark hole.

I don't love Oprah anymore. There's this goon, the other one, the Vanzant woman, but really, the breaking point for me was an episode in which she had women on who used to have jobs, but now they just had husbands and children, and the entire episode was about finding spiritual enlightenment in doing laundry and how fucking fulfilling that shit is. I DON'T THINK SO.

"Dr" Phil is actually a heart-warming story of how even the most lop-sided Mr. Potato Head can grow up to be a plague unleashed upon America by Oprah (Hoarp spelled inside out and backward) Winfrey.

Just google Deepak on Huffpo? I will do that. I met Deepak many years ago when he was still a schill for the Marahishi. I have stories.......... Meditation is very beneficial though. Deepak's kid did a documentary on him and it painted a rather complicated and overall unflattering picture. Kudos to the kid for the honesty.
