Tramadol is a great drug. You are unlikely to get addicted if you take it as prescribed and it does a great job of stopping pain without leaving you groggy or high.
We went from "pain is whatever the pt says it is" to "you must be drug seeking" esp. if a POC. Women also are doubted. Pity the poor woman in a sickle cell crisis
I had to argue with my surgeon's PA to NOT send in a pain med script because I had every single pill left of the three scripts I had for my 1st hip surgery. I told them I didn't take one single pill once I got home. I took ibuprofen instead and even stopped that after three days. They sent me home with Percocet, tramadol and valium (why the valium I have no clue), those bottles sit untouched in my medicine cabinet to this day.
I broke my wrist, and the doc sent me home with instructions to take ibuprofen. That first day was agony and I've got a high pain threshold. That's how scared he was about giving patients pain meds. I saw a different doc for the surgery later, and had opioids left over, he trusted me.
Drain was what we used to call "A Name That Works." He got all Chapter 11 cases filed in Westchester County, so companies contemplating need for a friendly forum would move there or open a subsidiary in the county to judge-shop to him. He finally retired, and the court has announced that all Chapter 11s will now be randomly assigned among all the sitting judges in New York Southern.
Make 11 billion by creating an opioid epidemic, then pay 4.5 billion to get away with it and continue to keep living the good life with no consequences. The rich are different from you and me.
My kid brother (may his memory be a blessing) used to sing that song as "might as well face it, you're a dick."
Yes, no pain is sometimes the best high ever.
can someone tell me why anyone would want to talk with Rick Scott?
Me too.

Depends if they're paid, I'd hazard to guess.
The Opioid season of Goliath, season 4, is pretty good. Agree with you the first season was outstanding, TG.
Was judge Drain given a commission to give his verdict ? A touch of judge Shredder who let Cry Baby go free ?
I believe that corporations were declared as "people" for some purposes weren't they? If so, it should be possible to sue them. Clarification?
