In a trial that could finally toss out one of the ridiculous restrictions on voting pushed by Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, a federal court in Kansas City, Kansas, is hearing a suit by the American Civil Liberties Union against Kansas's 2013 law requiring that people provide proof of citizenship -- a birth certificate, passport, or naturalization papers -- just to register to vote in the state.
And yet if Granma Lurlene gives her grandson Bobby a vial of her Medicaid oxy's to sell she's just doing the best she can to get by. They don't even pretend to have consistent rules.
It's a GOP thing, not a southern thing. In Maine ballot boxes from the islands are brought back to the mainland by boat to be counted, and in two cases the ballots outnumbered the islands' populations by more than a factor of two. Whole thing was "investigated" & buried.

I wouldn't even let this waste of breath put on a defense; I'd rest my case and ask the judge for a summary judgement pronto.
