Ah, but this turd changed his name from "Dannie Scott Goeb" to "Dan Goeb Patrick" informally in 1977 and legally in 2004 – allegedly to honour his wife's family and brother-in-law. although many have pointed out that he loved the REAL Dan Patrick and wanted to scam his way into a radio career by stealing that name.
Back in 2019 I took a bus to Buffalo, and there was the usual stop in Rochester. There the bus was boarded and a man and a woman across the aisle from me who had been speaking Spanish were taken off the bus. As the bus had a wait of about 15 minutes we watched as they were interrogated in front of the bus station, and just before we left, we saw the woman being handcuffed and taken away while they just left the man there.
That is a bit of a cheat on their part (no surprise) as parts of the Great Lakes that are in the US should not count. For example the Michgan edge of Lake Huron is 185 miles away from Chicago which makes the Canadian part of the lake further away than 100 miles.So how can any place 100 miles west of Chicago be in the zone?
I believe the current thinking, at least among the prosperity Gospel types so common in Texas, is that salvation is a “personal matter,” negotiated directly between the Christian and Jesus, without regard to outside factors, such as the least of those His brethren. Gives you all the benefits of Christianity without any of that yucky, feel bad stuff.
Do you think Abbott is aware that a good percentage of the "people of Texas" he claims are his duty are hispanic? Or is he doing that close-your-eyes-and-plug-your-ears bit and pretending that only white people live here?
