but the interest rate the Fed has just cut to zero is the interest rate the banks pay, right? They don't actually cut credit holders any slack on the 20-30% interest rate they are paying, when the Fed lowers the interest rate, do they? That would violate the sacred Golden Precepts of Maximum Usury.
But being able to claim lower rates brings in more cardholders, so that when the business cycle swings back you can charge them more. You gotta do something now and again to make it look attractive to the rubes.
I have a combination of games on my phone that are free and a great way to keep myself entertained between waking up and going to sleep. Mostly puzzles and two "dress-up" games. Plus a "cat collector" game. And unlike playing an MMORPG, I can stop at any time to deal with my toddler without getting yelled at by teammates.
