I remember visiting my sister and BIL in Hoboken back in 2016 (or 17) and hearing about what a corrupt POS Menendez was. It think it was in connection with some charges he beat.

The no show job and the bribery are pretty standard fare for Jersey, but even Tony Soprano would kick this guy's ass for going against his country.

"Democratic Rep. Andy Kim from New Jersey announced last month that he was challenging Menendez in next year’s primary"

LFG!

And yet somehow 40% polled "aren't sure." If they land on Menendez's side, he takes it.

I’ve lived in NJ-3 for 25 years, Andy Kim’s district. This district was solidly Republican for most of my time here. A Democrat won in 2008, after the long serving Republican retired creating an open seat. He lost in 2010.

Andy won in 2018 by a close margin. Waiting out the count of mail-in and provisional ballots to make up the Election Day deficit against the incumbent MacArthur was a bit stressful for me.

He’s one of the few or only 2018 Democrat Representative to win re-election in a district Trump won.

I think recent redistricting has made NJ-3 friendlier for Democrats, but he’s the only Democrat who has been able to hold this seat, in my time here.

Him becoming the junior Senator for NJ leaves me a bit apprehensive on which direction this district will go without him.

Run for Representative.

The only question I have is: Which is the bigger dirt ball, Bob Menendez himself or his wife, Nadine? They are neck and neck for the "honor."

I’m still don’t get how Nadine’s compensatory manslaughter car hasn’t gained more traction. Menendez must be getting funding from Republicans. Democrats, generally speaking, tend to not tolerate felonious douchebags all that well. We’re disloyal that way.

If I ever take bribes to do my job I'm going to insist on being paid in commemorative plates. At least half Princess Di, and the rest anything with a beagle on it.

Is he still sitting on any committees? Because he shouldn't be.

He's not. Senate rules immediately bounced him from committee seats when the indictments landed.

Menendez should go for the Gingrich defense: I cheated on my country because I love America so much.

"However, more than a dozen Democrats still haven’t called for his resignation, and exactly no Republicans have done so."

Honestly this seems like something the Republicans should be jumping all over.

Well, they do have this problem with their presumptive nominee for President.

Then again, nothing has ever stopped them from being massive hypocrites, while the MSM continually enables them.

Murphy and stateside party bosses like DiVincenzo and Norcross should have a little "come to Jesus" talk with Bob, if they haven't already.

DiVincenzo could make him an offer he can't refuse.
