Sometimes I wonder if reactionary media sources like fox, limbaugh etc. keep getting funded because their viewership/listenership/readership numbers are artificially inflated by all the normal and left media reporters who are forced to watch/listen/read in order to report that news.
I previously ranted, actual evangelical missionary publications were foremost in acknowledging that HIV/ AIDS was hitting Africa much harder than the west, and that many were being infected through non sexual transmission. Anyone who still views it as a "gay" disease is ignoring even the honest Christians.
This is particularly hilarious since it's apparent that this fool hasn't been in San Francisco for a while, because now it's more of a gentrified playground for tech bros than anything else. At least make sure your stereotyping is on point! Sheesh!
This kind of RW bullshit makes me unutterably sad. Always looking for someone to "other", someone to blame. Like long term HIV survivors and the miraculous treatments their persistence and courage and activism helped develop don't deserve our love and thanks for being beacons of hope that somehow made it through the very very worst of times.
