If I remember correctly, the Supreme Court ruled that execution by electric chair was unconstitutional because it was cruel and unusual.

Seriously. I've never understood why they use a complex cocktail of drugs that doesn't always work right rather than a lethal dose of morphine or some other analgesic.

Yeah, if I had to choose I'd go with nitrogen. A firing squad might "accidentally" miss the mark and prolong the experience.

Trump and his ilk love nothing more than punishing other people. They are the ones who would be super jazzed to go see a public execution. First in line to spit on someone in the stocks. Shunning pregnant unmarried women from "polite" society would be a delight for them. Such excellent proof that THEY are better than Those People Who Deserved It.

"There are no devils left in hell; they are all in the White House."

Borrowed from a missionary's quote after the slaughter in Africa where the word used instead of "White House" was "Rawanda."
