Meanwhile, Marissa Alexander, who fired a <i>warning shot</i> to fend off her abusive husband faces a 60-year sentence. Her original jury deliberated for a whole 12 minutes before rejecting her Stand Your Ground defense. In Florida. And guess who the prosecutor is who wants that 60-year sentence? Angela Fucking Corey. <a href="http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/..." target="_blank">" rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/marissa-alexander-deni...">http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/...

No doubt there's an internet site where racist gun nuts can donate to Dunn's defense fund. I refuse to even look for it.

What is this weird sensation I'm feeling? Is it.. hope? Hope that there's still chance for some sort of justice for people of color in America?

Not to worry, I'm sure yet another white male asshole will shoot dead a black person because: black without facing any consequences and life will return to "normal", aka, "I don't want to live here any more".

PS, fuck this guy. And his pizza.

A lot of people were complaining that the prosecutor already has the guy going up for 60 years on the attempted murder convictions (at his age, practically a life sentence), so why go after him for the one charge they didn't decide on?

One of the people who defended the prosecutor's decision to move forward for the retrial was Mark O'Mara, the guy who got George Zimmerman acquitted by defeating this same DA in court.

Life is weird.

Oh, I know. It's just that the one person I didn't expect to pen a CNN op-ed defending her would be the same guy who spent weeks on TV running her down as a political opportunist trying to make a name for herself.

Used to use "Old Sparky", but now they use the needle instead because some bleeding-heart liberals thought watching a guy basically being boiled alive was not appropriate means of death.

No reasonable person could have a chat with the Zimmerman jury without giving up and taking them out back of the woodshed for a good and thorough ass-beating.
