A robber held up a well-dressed man, pointing his gun and yelling, “Give me all your money!” The man replied, “Don’t you know who I am? I’m a U.S. congressman!” The robber retorted, “In that case, give me all my money!”
As someone who used to book music acts in a venue as part of my job, I can tell you what a total shit show this kind of law would result in. We can’t limit program content per se, but we sure can place conditions on performers who incite the crowd - mostly by requiring extra security that make the promoters costs skyrocket. So, good luck with that, pal.
The guy who claims to be for "Less Government" is also trying to use government to introduce more legislation to allow people to discriminate based on their conscience.
Am I the only one to notice that Repubs, who once automatically supported business over people, no long supports businesses? This seems to be especially true in Florida.
Yeah! Rock and roll has always been about getting laws enacted that tell people they have to accept you and your music even if they don't like it or you.
Who can forget such great tunes as Presley's "State House Rock" or Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take You Not Letting Our Band Perform At The Venue Of Our Choosing"
"Admittedly, I did not watch the entire original 40 minute video so it is possible that not all of the songs were about doctors, but the first two were and I imagine they probably continued with that theme."
Why do people like him (I'm not just talking about musicians...speakers, whatever) think everybody wants to watch these long videos? 10/20 minutes is more than enough.
I'm pretty sure this whole thing is Sun City Girls' comeback tour.
(No, you have no idea who I'm talking about. But the last time I posted about Sun City Girls, I got a response from someone who had been at the same show as me, so you never know.)
So, this guy believes that his right to say whatever he wants on the internet with no possible consequences to him, only consequences to the business that hired him, regardless of whatever out language is built into said agreement?
I guess the invisible hand of the market has stopped existing when you are a fascist.
That’s not even including the “I won’t treat people I find personally yucky” law. What a putz.
Trying to steal that Trump clout by taking something that actually happened to Trump and pretending it happened to his dork-ass dad band. What a loser.

Wow! Not only can't Republicans do humor they also suck at music.

That tracks.

they only support business when it profits them to do so
I'm sure it's been said, but somebody needs to tell the dude not to give up his doctor's gig to pursue his "art" full-time.
He needs to give up BOTH gigs.
I'd rather someone told the dude he needs to give up politics to pursue his 'art' full time.
you'd be saving lives if you did tho
And there's no way this bill if passed could come back to bite him in the ass?
"We just hired Randy Rainbow for our wingnuts bar. "
"Do you know who Randy Rainbow is?"
"Oh no, we'll just fire him. Oh wait, we can't."
Karma is a bitch.
Why venues can't also have consciouses that doing some things is against?
???
The drummer wasn’t bad
He has nice teeth.

Never submitted a demo. The first thirty seconds will tell you all you need to know.

So the video is really just a ten minute cymbal solo due to the really excellent recording. Fantastic!

The whole bit of her on Graham Norton is good,, but at around minute 4:15 Joan Rivers tells one of the funniest jokes I've ever seen her do.
