Because it's all about tribalism. The vaccines are bad because Democrats take them, and thus must be opposed. Health considerations have nothing at all to do with it.

It's one of the safest assumptions going that any person appointed to any position by DeSantis, is a political hack mouthing the DeSantis line, whose professional qualifications are either non-existent, or deemed irrelevant.

Because they're fucking scary, is why. Of course they're going to end up appeasing the people who threaten to harm them or their families. People are aware that the other side has no problem with bullying and intimidation and violence. How do we counter that???

Floridians who knew (and claimed to love) people who were killed by Ladapo and DeSantis's lies voted for 4 more years of the same. DeSantis won by 1,507,897 votes, despite his body count.

Is it Niceville? I'm from PC but lived in Niceville for several years when my husband was stationed at Coast Guard Destin. He had the misfortune of taking four head Gaetz out on his boat. Said he was a huge a$$hole and a blowhard. This was pre-trump so I imagine he is even worse now. But Niceville is the only small tow that maybe fits the bill for Ms Jones to live, she would probably be run out of town in many of the other small towns in that area
