A prominent Republican elected official died in my state, and friends of mine attended the memorial service. His wife got up to speak and used the event to launch her campaign for her husband's vacated seat.

If they don't test, they won't have cases. I was talking to Daughter about that today and said, "You know, if they hadn't been testing for TB when you were born, they never would have found the worker in the hospital nursery who had it, and we wouldn't have had to have our babies tested, and we would have all lived happier lives, right?"

TRYING to ask a question. At a press conference that was then broadcast to the public. They said he was being "disruptive," so I hope he hits them with a disruptive multi-million-dollar civil rights lawsuit

How about INTENDING to be "losing weight, exercising, eating more fruits and vegetables"? Does that work? Since actually doing those things is a lot harder than taking a shot.

If I "leave the numbers where they are," I will never grow old. It'll be sooo great! For EVERYBODY else, too!!! Even if,(like me),you're already a little beyond the ideal age range... Can you imagine??? Brave new world.

I lived in St. Petersburg, across the bay from Tampa, for a decade one year. Flat, hot, humid, and they have 6" long cockroaches that fly. No thanks.

I first read it as 'Lapida', which is Spanish for 'tombstone'. That would have been more fitting, actually.

Ladapo went from being a hospital staff doc to Florida SG with a professorship attached, total compensation $700k plus and virtually no duties except for shilling for DeathSanitis. Beats 80 hour weeks in the hospital.Bought and paid for.

In the firmly Democratic area of Tampa/St. Pete, we made state-news headlines because 3 people waiting in line for Covid tests so they could return to work collapsed while waiting. This was due to long lines + unseasonably hot & humid temperatures. Last nite I received an email from our Democratic mayor assuring us that 3 additional testing sites would be opened around the city of Tampa. Then, I saw the headlines that this surgeon general and Darth Santis had announced tests are stoopid and they’d be cutting/reducing them. And Darth Santis was on the front page of Tampa Bay Times today saying he’s asking the Feds for way more monoclonal antibodies doses, but I guess he missed the memo that particular treatment doesn’t work so great on Omicron. It’s not simply a matter of him wanting numbers to “look good” (i.e., not be counted). It’s a matter of him wanting to force the Red State Fascist Agenda on liberal outposts who happen to be struggling to survive out here. They are all “State’s Rights!” but that doesn’t trickle down to cities, towns, and citizens’ lives. It is tyranny and fascism.

He said even if it doesn't help Omicron (AND WHO EVEN KNOWS, SEZ RON) we still have a bunch of Delta around. FEDS ARE MEANIES.
