I'm wondering if Cohen had a companion when he didn't go to Prague ever in his life -- just check his passport.

I'm kind of thinking that this is what the second round of the Civil War looks like, and Jefferson Cheeto Hitler Davis won election in the northern states.

Eh, I don't care about his dickpickery, his War on Terror paranoia about Muslims annoys me more. He's good on Trump but he IS a Dubya Republican.

Yes,and single people with NO income get about 160 per month ...surely one can lease a new Cadillac ,and buy Lobster with that ! General Assistance is long gone in most states , and " Welfare Reform " has been a stupid political football for decades . It's been cut , mangled ,reformed and re- reformed ever since people like Dixiecrat Wallace ,and Reagan saw a route to votes with lies about it . Tell me anyone ; is this country better off since Welfare Reform went big time in the 90s ?

Keynes died just after WW2. He would have never factored in that changes to the way that commodities were sourced would inevitably lead to the transfer of manufacture to those nations too. Once the jobs that appeared to be essential to keep the West running did vanish the monied classes did not particularly care whether someone worked 15 hours or 75. An automation, however, is an investment and needs to be maintained to get full value out of it. You would spend millions on a machine that can fold and spot-weld sheet metal as that has a higher mark-up from manufacturing. You don't stick it in a 40C degree shed in dirty and hazardous conditions and have it pick orders - better to use humans for that as the return is minimal.

My best example is the shipbreakers in Bangladesh. Those giant ships don't go to some high-tech robotic salvage centre in China. They run them up on the shore at Chittagong and an army of men with saws and blowtorches swarm over them to break them down and drag out the bits with rope. Back-breaking, dangerous work for about $5 a day. You get hurt, die - someone's happy to take that job.

How do you respond to any dumbfuck with a sub average intelligence? Really it’s best not to roll around in the mud with pigs.

ummmm... don't use "mentally challenged" as a demeaning term, Dante. I hate Newt as much as the next smart sassy liberal, but you aren't doing anyone any favors by using that term as a slur.

Newt is probably of above average intelligence and education, which makes his heinous behavior even more disgusting, in my opinion.

I'll take that out ..I recall him getting himself all lathered up in sweat ,when he would push his girth onto podiums in the 90s railing against the poor . I meant to say " mental case ". This esteemed site diagnosed him as " hypotrophic " years ago ; finding a sketch he did of himself with arrows pointing at himself ...center of attention .

Yes, they've already tried it in several places and proved that it is not a fiscally responsible use of public money. Thus, they must do it again because profits from the testing lab.

What happened to free market magic? Why do conservatives want to put Uncle Sam's thumb on the scales for shitty employers to help them hire more wage slaves? How fair is that to employers at capacity who pay living wages?

Also, the other reason for those millions of unfilled jobs they crow on about is a lack of qualified applicants. By all means, though, force struggling people to go for jobs they either can't get or which won't support them.
