If nothing else,John Roberts told these folks how to strike down abortion rights in the future so it's not like he's an ally on this yet they still hate him.

If the anti abortion movement was anything more than a wedge issue, they'd be working towards a constitutional amendment. The scotus rules for women's constitutional rights, change the fucking constitution you hypocritical, self righteous, ignorant ... Losers.Surely the all powerful sky daddy will make sure the vast majority of the voting citizens that currently are pro choice change their minds.

I think some of them may have, but for obvious reasons the amendment hasn't gotten anywhere.

The idiots never got the memo that abortion was never the real issue. I mean, sure it's a bonus issue in reestablishing the preferred social order of fundamentalists and conservatives, but the real prize is and always has been rolling back civil rights and voting rights protections for minorities.

Got to get to the apartheid ethnostate first, then they'll come around to subjugating the little ladies through the law and through terror.

Yeah "black lives matter" to him, if they're a fetus.

This is like the sociopath who lies and then gets angry when you don't believe the lie even though he has admitted it was a lie.

I was thinking that this decision might discourage Trump voters come November, but now I realized that both of Trump's nominees voted in favor of letting the law stand. This will only encourage the anti abortion crowd to vote for him, in hopes that they'll be able to get another anti abortion judge on the supreme court.

That sounds a bit more like a psychopath than a sociopath.

"this Court’s highly selective use of stare decisis defies logic and reason."

hey mike lee--that's a feature, not a bug. plus are you saying out loud that they DON'T normally follow stare decisis?

gammarae's avatar

they are not reading his opinion carefully. surprise!

Plus, a prior Supreme Court decided that the 14th Amendment to the (dare I say) CONSTITUTION did indeed provide a privacy interest that encompassed abortion.

some of them do, and they creep me out. starting with rep. scott desjarlais, who got at least two of his partners to have abortions. f'ing hypocrite.

I'd bet a dollar if the signatories of the declaration of independence were polled, they'd be in favor of legal abortions. Those old boys were randy and had many children out of wedlock.

He'd rather they never follow it and just give him the outcome he wants.

They're so mad Roberts didn't notice them winking when they said they were trying to "protect" women.
