Let's also go after Trump family members who passed government info to foreign governments for favors - I'm looking at you, Ivanka and Jared.

I seem to remember a meeting with Russians, Russians, Russians at Trump Tower leading up to the 2016 election.

Axomamma's avatar

That is collusion. They didn't yet have access to government secrets. I'd suggest further investigation for post-inauguration corruption. The way Trump handled documents, you'd have to be stupid to think Jr and Ewick weren't pawing through the boxes to find stuff to sell.

That ballroom isn't gonna get built.

Besides the skeevy Epstein stuff, Andrew always seemed like a big fat zero to me. It sounds like a lot of the royals do engagements and work on behalf of the crown but he doesn't seem like one of them.

I'm amused by all this handwringing over, "Oh, wherever will Andrew live? What palatial eight-bedroom home can we ensconce him in rent-free?" This man is in his mid-60s. He can buy or rent a house like everybody else. He's had a lifetime to save up some money and if he hasn't—too bad, freeloader.

Perhaps in prison he can learn a trade.

Will he have to buttle himself?!

Lexicon Devil's avatar

Huh huh you said …

OrdinaryJoe's avatar

Look at the bright side. The Andrew formerly known as Prince can get rent free, government maintained housing again.

Bitter Scribe's avatar

There will never be any serious effort to pursue the Epstein criminals in the U.S., because the chief executive of the U.S. is the chief Epstein criminal. Simple as that.

All we can do is point this out, and hope that it soaks through the thick skulls of the dopes who voted for Trump because he would fight a mysterious pedophile ring.

I swear to Christ, if I hear "This is not who we aaarrre" one more time, someone's going home without a head. If this was truly not who we are, TFG would have been in prison 20 years ago. It's beyond mortifying that THIS (and to be clear, we're not even at this stage yet), a worldwide scandal of devravity and corruption, is what it takes before we drag TFG out of the White House in shackles along with every cabinet member, department head, advisor, and campaign donor.

This is who we've been since the pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock.

Brian McCurdy's avatar

I don't think "It's not who we are" is helpful. We should switch to "We shouldn't be this way."

It continues to be shocking.

So unfair. Nobody said thank you.

At least he wasn't in charge of ordering the donuts for the break-out session.

Bitter Scribe's avatar

Well, at least by now he knows enough not to pause for laughter that never comes.

I guess if you bomb hard enough often enough, that's one lesson you learn.

Conservatives don't understand satire.

That doesn't make them funny. Especially if your from Ohio. Even Drew Carey wasn't funny. And he was the funniest person from Ohio.

MAGAT Fascism is entrenching itself deeper and more powerful each day. The President and his Fourth Reich are actively and publicly telling Amerika that they will control the upcoming mid term elections. By putting election control under the command of the national domestic violent post Constitutional DOHS army, they are telling us that there will be armed, violent thugs at the polling and tabulation sites . The President and his Cabinet have made it perfectly clear that they will not permit their political opposition to win elections.

Until the Dem Party recognizes that Biden’s gross incompetency in refusing to aggressively terminate Trump’s criminal war against the Constitution and Democracy is a major part of how we got to this point, the Dem Party will never be pushed to the point of doing everything necessary to stop the Fascist juggernaut taking over this country. We are way beyond a Constitutional crisis. And it is going to take much more than elections to put an end to this.

satch's avatar

Blaming Biden for this is like blaming the last kid who strikes out for a 20 run loss in Little League. We had two chances to elect competent leadership, and voters decided, with the help of the Electoral College, to put in office a career criminal. The Supreme Court is equally to blame. We're here because we're living in a country that thinks it's God's gift to the world, and can't accept its shortcomings. If blaming Biden helps you get through the day, go for it, but this Monday morning quarterbacking helps no one.

I always understood that Air Force One's color scheme was made to help "hide" the plane - a blue bottom would mimic the sky from the ground.

Of course, the Orangae asshole believes stealth planes are actually invisible, so there' no doubt in my mind that he has directed the Air Force to make Air Force One stealthy - so the color scheme doesn't matter.

He's really stupid enough to think this, and arrogant enough to ignore any expert that tries to tell him.

Enter Ranting's avatar

Raymond Lowey designed the paint scheme for Air Force One. He was an absolute genius. He designed the Coke bottle and the Studebaker Avanti, among other famous things.

Bupkus231's avatar

I didn't know that name - but looking him up on Wiki, I was amazed:

The Man Who Shaped America, The Father of Streamlining, and The Father of Industrial Design ( various titles the press conveyed on him ) indeed!!

I almost said “good…I hope it’s an easy target!”

Then I remembered there are many other people on that plane.

Goddamned conscience.

I just finished reading "Nobody's Girl" and I have mixed reviews about it. However, I do believe all the terrible abuse took place and people (and I use the term people loosely here) like andrew deserve to be tossed into a hole and forgotten about. They are sick people who don't see women, children, or poors as human beings worthy of respect. We need to stop allowing the rich to treat us like kleenex. We're not unworthy, we're not disposable, and if we all worked towards the same goal, we might be unstoppable.
