There are those who think they can spew hatemongering and bullpucky without consequences. Left alone, they get more aggressive and more belligerent, and getting their bull horn cut off is a bit of a reality check, and trust, they need it.
I just search and nuke 'em. I hit report: Bye. Memes are best, because the twitter crawlers aren't as adept at picking up on them. Plus, if the text has a '?' or pretends to be 'joking' or starts with IMHO, Twitter will back off. But a suggestion of vengeance, or putting up a fight? Anything Q? Bye.
Another east spot is anti-vaxxies, or covid hoax statistic/claim: they get the hardest ban.
Pro-tip: A quick look to check if the followers and following are the same number, and if yes: don't get bothered, it's a russky bot. You can still nuke 'em, but better to move on to bush-whack the real humans leaving their hateful manure.
And because I am the worst, I always go back after a week or two, and I hit them again. And then one more time, and then they can't come back at all.
Another fun trick is if the are claiming to be an army vet, I send a linky to the 'stolen valor' people. Works like a charm and shuts those lying poseurs up fast.
The only thing more distressing than how lazy and half-assed Russia's election interference ops are is how mind-bogglingly effective they are with wingnuts.
The thing with Russian election ratfucking is that they win either way. The efforts are hamfisted and obvious because they can't lose. Either they get a harmful president to American interests in the White House or they undermine confidence in American elections. Both outcomes are good for them because they increase instability. So they probably just don't care how concealed the op is.
It just seems odd in this day and age - like keeping your CD copy of Encarta. Even my employer, a public university, uses cloud-based everything, including email.
Oh please. It wasn't perfect after 8 years of Obama. There are always less competent people in large organizations, even if they aren't clones of Moscow Mitch. And I'm not convinced "one party" will have "decades" to root it out.
He might not prefer Biden. I’m saying he’s not invested so much in re-electing Trump as he is in generating chaos and dismantling our democracy as much as possible. If Trump isn’t the winner, it won’t much matter to Putin. He’s already gotten what he was after, for 4 years. He would love to see it continue, but if it doesn’t, he’s not hurting over it.
Makes me wonder if the Russians planted Hillary's emails on Weiner's laptop too. Just in time for Comey to tell everyone he was re-opening the investigation into Hillary.
He's sure not Spartacus
I don't tweet; I weed.

Damn, memory lane...1972?

And also write the code to capture "Liberty University _Regent University_ Campbell University" to weed out the evangelical whackadoodles.
And what's Roger Stone doing right now?? He isn't in prison yet.
Which means he's out ratfucking the election.
