Think how much more exciting your basic dull day to day would be, if you were totally sure that demons and angels were battling for your soul. That every weird little thing you saw was a sign, not that the world is full of weird little things, but of God talking to you? Instead of just walking to the corner store for a chocolate bar, you're on a quest where at any time, you will be called upon to battle evil? Is that fun, or what? No wonder they hold onto it in the face of any evidence.
Nothing new from this guy. The idea that UFOs are demons has been around forever. The Ezekiel-UFO idea was mentioned every week in the opening of Jack Webb's(Yes,, that Jack Webb) late '70s UFO TV series Project UFO. And I bet this guy thinks the Chinese will field a 200 million man army as part of Armageddon. Because Chinese soldiers don't need transport, places to sleep etc.
As dyed in the wool skeptic, I don’t believe in aliens/demons/angels/gods. But as a Sci-fi/fantasy geek, I think it would be awesome if they were real.
It's completely reasonable for a skeptic to believe in the *possibility* of aliens. The Universe is a bloody big place, and it's virtually certain that some sort of life exists somewhere other than Earth. It's not really a question of whether aliens exist, but whether they're visiting Earth.
I also wish more people remembered that UFO literally means UNIDENTIFIED flying object. Not Identified as an alien spacecraft Flying Object.
I see those as separate questions separated by several layers. Given the size of the universe and the fact that the laws of physics are the same every where, I’d say it’s highly likely that life has emerged elsewhere in the universe. But that life may only the equivalent of microbes. Or it could be multicellular but not intelligent. Or it could be intelligent but behind us in technological development. Or they could be advanced but just too far away for us to have any meaningful communication. By the time we get to the question of whether they’ve developed some kind of warp drive and are anal probing goobers in the middle of nowhere, the odds have plummeted to close to nil.
And yes, people have been seeing things in the sky they have not been able to identify since, well, people have been looking up and wondering. Until the 20th century, they attributed these sightings to gods/angels/demons. Now they tend to think they’re aliens. Ninety-nine out of hundred times, they can be explained as natural phenomena. That doesn’t mean the remaining 1% are big-eyed monsters. It just means we haven’t figured out what it really is.
This guy is precisely the kind I worry about. He lives in the 21st century. He has his hands on 21st century technology. He could even have his finger on the button of a nuke. And yet his mind is firmly rooted in the 14th century--a world pervaded with demons and witches, where ideas of the enlightenment aren't just beyond conception but are heresy! How does humanity survive in the 20th century when roughly a third of our citizens are still rooted in the 14th?
Fortunately, we made it out of the 20th century in one piece. But these end-time idiots are just as convinced we won't make it out of the 21st as they have been for every century since about the third.
Pfft. Aliens are fairies. If you REALLY watched Supernatural you’d know that.
He's parroting old news in UFO circuits. See "Collins Elite". Fasten your seatbelt, it's a bumpy ride.
what morons...
Did the Substack conversion obsolete the Wonkism 'morans'? https://redlegnation.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/morans.jpg
No intelligent race would ever come near this planet.

"So clearly he's a very reasonable and grounded person."
Nah. I won't regard him as very reasonable and grounded until he starts talking about commie plots to pollute America's precious bodily fluids.
Nah. Ta, Robyn.

I’m not saying it was aliens but it was aliens

This is a nod to this article and the late, great Mark Margolis…

As a person of faith, the only thing I can say is oh, for fucks sake.
Robyn, you can "do your research" by watching Ancient Aliens. All your questions will be answered
