Fox News Doc Wishes Facebook Loved America Instead Of Murder

Fox News's resident malpract-asshat, Dr. Keith Ablow, has his dickbeaters on the pulse of America. Whether it's accusing millennials of being lazy and degenerate human waste, concluding that battered women invite domestic violence when they play sports, or saying that allowing yucky transgenders to go potty is the same as getting tattooed in blackface, this is one Lex Luthor impersonator who clearly knows what he's talking about. He's got a piece of paper that says he's a doctor after all!

During another recent shit-fit on the ever astute "Fox & Friends," Ablow sounded his blowhole about the murder of Jennifer Streit-Spears. He had his man-titties in a bunch, not because the woman was murdered, but because her boyfriend and accused killer, Kenneth Alan Amyx, uploaded photos of her bloody body to her Facebook account, and it took 36 hours for Facebook to scrub the post. Ablow thus concluded that Facebook is a drug, and it wants its high-as-a-kite users to document their own homicides. Obviously.

</center> <p/><blockquote>"Facebook respects no boundaries other than the self, in other words, they want people to express the basest parts of themselves, get lost in it as you would in a drug, but if you then say, 'Wait, I'm patriotic,' Wait a second, 'That's offensive.'"</blockquote> <p>Now, before we get down to how mind-boggling and fucked up it is to insinuate that Facebook encourages murder (liberal murder!), while censoring good old patriotic American values (Fox News values!) let's remember this man is a doctor, and he's on teevee. Clearly he's a scholar and a well-intentioned individual who has weighed all the facts before offering a rational argument. </p><p>Ablow simply concluded that Amyx uploaded the photo of Streit-Spears's body to her social media profile, as well as his own bloody selfie, and that Facebook LOVED IT SO MUCH. But if Amyx uploaded a picture of a bald eagle with a single tear kissing Ted Nugent on the mouth (or something equally conservative and patriotic) that would be OFFENSIVE. Oh, and he seems to think that the murder happened because of "social media addiction," which could obviously be remedied with more 'Merica: </p><p/><blockquote>"Eyeballs focused on self. They want narcissism, not patriotism ... It's the ultimate narcissistic insanity, frankly. That he is celebrating this base act and they're like, thirty-six hours, we can't take it down. We know you alerted us to it, but we let people express themselves ..."</blockquote> <p>If you're at all confused, don't worry, that bat-shit insane leap of logic makes even less sense than Amyx being found with his own superficial stab wounds naked and half-conscious in Streit-Spears's bathroom. Amyx <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/02/us/kenneth-alan-amyx-girlfriend-body-facebook-murder.html?_r=0">claims </a>this was part a suicide pact, and that things didn't go as planned (as if they EVER do). Lest we forget, Amyx <em>also</em> had two outstanding warrants in two different Texas counties. (Viewing the warrants, we can make the rather safe assumption that he's a <a href="https://apps.collincountytx.gov/JudicialRecords/Inmate/416915/Inmate%7CSearch%7CInmate%20Search%20Results%7Camyx%7C1">pederast.</a>) </p><p>We should note that the crime was first reported <em>because of</em> that social media posting. It was Streit-Spears's own mother who alerted police, and reported the photo to Facebook. Blaming this on abject narcissism and a lack of patriotism is not just the pot calling the kettle black, but also decidedly inhuman and borderline sociopathic. Using this same frame of logic, you could quite easily argue that genocide is TOTALLY COOL, BRO, just as long as the only thing up your ass is an American flag. </p><p>Facebook scrubbed the photo, and apologized to the family and friends of the Streit-Spearses. Facebook says the photos were not immediately taken down because they were dark, and it wasn't immediately clear what was in the images, and since the photos were posted to Streit-Spears's own account, the system Facebook users to justify offensive images became just as muddled as the mess of soupy trash that Ablow calls his brain.
