When I was in, if you refused a lawful order, they didn't give you leave. But hey, that was a long time ago, so, you know....nah, still doesn't work that way.
I remember well the bad old days before HIV was identified. Some of that spread was also blamed on Haitians.
Elder Sister, who has not yet been vaccinated because she listened to Younger Sister (a DC, not an MD) saw her cardiologist this week, who recommended she get vaccinated. I believe she's getting her first shot today.
Also today, the 70 year old agoraphobic I help out got the J&J at home. I had tried registering him for at-home vaccination three times without success, then went to the local office of my City Council member, Carlina Rivera, and registered him from their computer. The vaccine people called last Thursday or Friday to make the appointment, so I no longer have to worry about getting an asymptomatic Delta case and carrying it to him.
"Conservatives are now expressing shock that marines of all people endure a regimented life."Conservatives should watch that 1957 movie "The D.I." starring Jack Webb.
If you refuse a mandated vaccine in the military, you will not be "fired" or "put on leave". You will be tried in a military court for refusing orders under the UCMJ (uniform code of military justice). This will result in demotion and/or imprisonment and possibly discharge depending on the offense. Such a discharge would be probably be the "other than honorable" category. Removal might be a bit different for officers as they are commissioned and not enlisted, but demotion and imprisonment are still options.
Oh, and in the first few days of training, everyone gets a bunch of mandatory vaccinations. Refusal would be grounds for immediate expulsion, though other military charges might not apply since recruits are not technically soldiers yet.
Isn’t Project Veritas famous for secretly recording conversations and then taking little blurbs out of context for gotcha articles? If that’s the project, I would say it’s not going well.
If there are truly people in the military who think following orders is a personal choice, they need to be gone anyway.

LOGAN: I just spoke to James O'Keefe of Project Veritas
And no need for anyone to take what follows seriously. Did she meet with Jimbo on his dildo boat?
"I just spoke to James OKeefe" does not look good on a resume.
Anyone still think 60 minutes was wrong by firing her? Her and Sharyll Attkisson prove every day what whackos they have been all along.
Unless you’re a federal investigator.

As a former sailor myself I speak with authority when I say that the only good thing that ever came out of the Marine corps was Toys for tots.
Unless you're applying for a job at Fox.

One of the Wonker writers calls them "Project Ferret-ass". which I think should be their name forevermore.
Wasn't Lara Logan once...a respected journalist? Am I remembering this wrong? I'm sure I am, but I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
