The Fox News Nuh-Uh Squad continues its response to President Obama's cruel assertion that Fox portrays poor people as lazy leeches who sponge off government benefits. On Sunday's MediaBuzz, Howard Kurtz and Brit Hume had a little chat about Obama's latest assault on the defenseless cable network, and they agreed that Fox doesn't portray the poor unfairly, because when Fox viewers think of poor people, they think of exactly the kind of poor people Fox shows, so there, and it's unfair for the president to single Fox out like that, especially when he fails to acknowledge that it's the poor's fault that they're poor.
Poor choice of uterus to fall out of tends to mark you for life in this country, contrary to the mythology that is so popular about this being a "classless" society.
Of course, if by "classless" you're meaning "a lack of class", then Faux Noise exemplifies that.
Is this math that republicans do to make themselves feel better?
Best night ever :,)
It sort of seems to be saying that Fox is actually an undercover Liberal enterprise stoking up it's rabid fan base to make the rest of the party look like lunatics though
That sounds like a good reason for an experiment. Let us disenfranchise the entire cast of Fox and take away their cars, fortunes, good hair products, etc for say, two months. To make sure they don't turn to rich friends and family, we shall have to isolate them in say, some inner city place with no phones or internet gofundme access, and with say, city water. We shall also put out a plate of food per day so they will not starve, but only if they want it, because they of course should not need any assistance.
If, after two months, they can pull themselves up by their bootstraps all by themselves and not take any assistance to survive, then they will have been proven right.
Apparently Brit believes that no one is born into poverty...I guess he thinks that every generation is born with all the advantages and just makes the kind of bad choices that push them into poverty.
So the US spends about $60 billion/year on welfare and about $90 billion/year on corporate subsidies. How's about FNC calls out Boeing/Motorola/IBM/Dow/GE for their epic mooching and leeching?
With Faux it's more of a flood than a trickle.
Hume would never eat a turd..it would be cannibalism.
I, for one have worked for over 40 years. I would be happy to be a taker and retire now.
Except I can't afford to do so and live, so I must work another 10-15 damn years.

Government handouts make the poor lazy and the rich industrious. That's just science.

I'm always entertained by them condemning the "grievance industry" in between moaning about this and whining about Christian persecution
