I had to game the Holy Fuck out of it to get to the point that I would qualify for $6000 per year in SNAP benefits. $2500 mortgage + $500 property taxes (remember, we are talking about someone who grosses $3667 per month), deductions for utility and phone payments and one of those 6 people had to be elderly/disabled- just to get the numbers to justify turning down a 6k raise. These assholes are full of it- their example doesn&#039;t exist and if if he did, none of them would turn down that raise...

My food bank serves enough food to feed 48,000 people 3 meals a day in one week. My food bank serves a 22-county area. My food bank is so efficent it can accomplish this at a cost of $0.33/pound.
20% of all of my food bank clients have felt the physical pain of hunger. These are US citizens of all ethnicities.
