Poor Katie Pavlich is just sick and tired of all the racism out there, and on Fox's The Five Wednesday disagreed vehemently with the crazy notion that we all have prejudices. God knows she's not prejudiced, although sometimes she does find it necessary to judge people in advance, like if she sees a black kid on the street and she crosses to the other side. But that's not prejudice. It's just good pre-judgment, duh.
My friend who was in the Army explained the strict rules they have about weapons and ammunition on base. Every weapon and every bullet has to be accounted for every day. Otherwise -- he implied -- soldiers steal/sell them.
He also explained all the ways soldiers manage to unintentionally shoot themselves. Despite getting far more training than the average Chipotle diner.
"I cross the street because I feel unsafe"
She's such a girl. When you feel unsafe, shoot first. It's legal now. Kind of a do-it-yourself death penalty without the hassle of a trial or hard-to-get lethal injection drugs.
Yes I cross the street when I see blacks. I don't deny that this is a prejudice - of course it is. But it's not racist - it is risk management. Blacks are massively over-represented (compared to their percentage of the population) among the group of criminals who commit violence. This statistics which demonstrate this truth are so overwhelmingly stark that blacks and liberals don't even bother debating the facts any more - they simply dismiss one as a racist for knowing these facts.
Sorry if blacks don't like this. But my concern with survival trumps my concern over how black people feel.

Now, while a joke about chewing my arm off to escape my own apartment was funnier, I couldn't come up with a good punch line

It's the headline that got away. But it was still funnier.
Are you confessing a deep fear of Photoshop?

I am clueless enough to not cross the street when I see a black teenager in a hoodie. Am I doing it wrong?

Yes this makes you racist.... Don't care about any of your feelings either. When is see a white person all I see is racism, oppression, and suffering.
AOT,K and showing a little leg wouldn't hurt.
Kevin O'Leary... yet another douche we Canadians must apologize for.
She's just taking her strawman out for a walk.

"Walking down the street late at night" is the new "I have a black friend" of racist examples.
Why did the bigot cross the road?
Chick-Fil-A probably.
The only way to stop a bad guy with a hoodie is a different side of the street.
Obviously streets are very powerful, just look at the level of safety that crossing one affords all of these night-wandering not-racists.
But if that street is in the wrong hands? This is why Zimmerman feared for his life.
Why did the bigot cross the road?
To confront a kid in a hoodie that he didn't think belonged in his neighborhood. HA HA *sob*
Bonus Not-Punchlines for Not-Racists:
Why does Katie Pavlich cross the road? "Simply putting my safety first" Why does George Zimmerman get away with murder? SAME REASON
Maybe Bristol will.
