Here is an update on the civil lawsuit Sherrod v. Breitbart stemming from the hatchet job of a video that cost Shirley Sherrod her position at the United States Department of Agriculture four years ago. We are pleased to report that Sherrod is still suing Andrew Breitbart, and Andrew Breitbart is still dead.
<i>&quot;Sherrod&rsquo;s defenders falsely claim the video Andrew Breitbart aired was &ldquo;heavily edited.&rdquo; What they really mean is that video of Sherrod saying things that make her look good wasn&rsquo;t aired alongside video that made Sherrod look bad.&quot;</i>
Fair and balanced? That&#039;s what the lame stream media does.
But let&#039;s try out the Brietbart approach:
<i><strike>Sherrod&rsquo;s defenders falsely claim</strike> the video Andrew Breitbart aired was &ldquo;heavily edited&rdquo; [to] <strike>What they really mean is that video of Sherrod saying things that</strike> make <strike>her look good wasn&rsquo;t aired alongside video that made</strike> Sherrod look </strike> bad. </i>
Weird how the table of drinks at the deposition was worth a photo. Because who knew Kirkland and Ellis was big and rich enough to afford several flavors of soda and juice? The whole rant is a sold mass of half-truths and diversions, as you would expect from a major-league douchebag lawyer.
Well, Sherrod was not a public figure so it doesn&#039;t matter anyway, because as Glenn Beck is about to find out, you cannot claim that the publicity your libel of somebody generate makes them a public figure.
Nevertheless, the knowing omission of exculpatory evidence is pretty close to the definition of &quot;actual malice&quot;, n&#039;est-ce pas?
I&#039;m curious as to the theory of the case that allows Mr. Adams to be deposed - since he resigned before the video was even posted, it wasn&#039;t like he was still in the Justice Department and told not to investigate. And if he&#039;s some sort of &quot;expert witness&quot;, I believe the defense attorney needs to be checked for senility.

Sounds like a mea culpa to me.
I&#039;d rather see him chained to Jacob Marley.

Yes, but he said to call him back when it can cure both death and years of decomposition too.
Say, whatever happened to that Young Riley chap?
sadly, the Obama impeachment began Jan 2009
Mr. Breitbart has actually joined the legendary Motown quartet, The Four Bottoms.
Good for him!
What a sec, still-dead Breitbart, while living, was not being intellectually honest?! GTFO!
Let&#039;s hope Shirley Sherrod takes &#039;em to the cleaners. You go, gurl!
...ahhhh yes, the old &quot; You are a racist, for pointing out my racism&quot; defense!

I was taken prisoner in The War On Whites and held captive at The Checkerboard Lounge by Lefty Dizz and Muddy Waters back in the late 70s.
