Most women I know rightly object to assholish behavior from men. Instead of having harmed of male jacanas who raise the chicks, what if the female jacanas decided the males weren’t worth the bother and aggravation and just refused to have anything to do with them?

Shocktreatment's avatar

Feets!

"Puttin' down roots... picking 'em up and putting them down again..."

... harems of males during breeding season, with one breeding female typically copulating with one to four males, and some females maintaining harems of eight or even up to ten mates... She's gotta be pretty busy, it's a jacana's life...

I don't remember exactly how long ago it was, but Gloria and Jane Fonda once appeared on Stephen Colbert's old show together. The three of them wore aprons and baked muffins while discussing women's issues. At one point Jane Fonda climbed on Stephen's lap and Gloria laughed when he turned beet red. So much for those humourless feminists.

Republicans sure do love to lie about dead children, don't they? I believe it must be one of their favorite things. Cooper should put that in an ad.

Mike Johnson? My current version of Col Bogey March:

Donald has only got one ball,

Miller has two but very small.

Duffy's are rather fluffy,

And Mike Johnson has no balls at all.

If the Supreme Court does not approve of the King's plan to disenfranchise me, I will be pleasantly shocked.

Bobby knows if a disease is not reported, it didn't happen, and if it didn't happen, he can continue spreading plague and pestilence to satisfy is craving for the blood of children.

Having left Rome for Canterbury many decades ago, it isn't often I agree with a Pope. But this one certainly does say the right things, quite often.

I didn't know that about Mr. T's name, but it makes obvious and logical sense. MY younger so was very impressed with him, and I remember mostly good things about his interaction with fans, especially kids.

Sorry to be so long winded. That's what happens when I've been sick, and suddenly start to feel better - I get talkative.

My coworker made some amazing ham and bean soup earlier this week, and when I complimented her, she told me her secret: You can buy frozen ham bones at Honey Baked Ham! I'm so excited for soup season now. Also, she adds a cup of instant potatoes to the broth to make it creamier. Glorious!

I don't think I'd make much of this. The orange bag of shit family doesn't actually own anything--they license their name to stuff that gets imported from China.

But it is the DSA who has “wacky” ideas…

Loving the write up on Mr T. he’s one of those celebrities that has amazingly lasted this long and I knew so little about him.

“He explains why he used to wear seven earrings – three in his right ear, four in the left. “The three is symbolic of the father, son and the holy ghost; the three wise men; the three Hebrew boys – Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego; the three parts of the day – morning, noon and night; the three graces – faith, hope and love; the three civil rights workers that was killed in Mississippi trying to register blacks – James Chaney, Mickey Schwerner and Andrew Goodman. And the four in my left ear are symbolic of the four seasons – spring, winter, summer and fall; the four directions – north, east, south and west; the four gospel writers – Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. You put the three and the four together, it’s seven. There were seven times the Israelites marched around the walls of Jericho, Samson had seven locks of hair, there are seven colours in the rainbow, there are seven musical notes, God made heaven and Earth in six days, and rested on the seventh. I am the seventh son. So everything I do, there is a reason behind it.”

Rosy red ASS's avatar

In the 80's I decided I wanted four in my right ear and two in my left but only because I thought it looked cool. I guess I am shallow. I do wear two tiny diamonds in the upper right ear all of the time because my parents gave them to me when I was in my twenties. Maybe I am not SO shallow.

GrumperDem's avatar

Heck im 66 and still haven’t made my mind up whether I want a tattoo or not. I’m leaning towards “no”

Rosy red ASS's avatar

After all of my surgeries in 2008/09 I thought I wanted a tattoo of mission blue butterflies flying out of the scar where my ileostomy was. Come to find out, you have to wait a bit before you can get a tattoo on a scar. I guess it gave me too much time to change my mind about it.

PrimerGray's avatar

He's stretching with the "7 musical notes" thing but I appreciate his sentiment.

I loved the Mr T article, even put up with redonkulous ads to finish the article. What a great man.

I am tickled that Donny won’t share his booty, like a fat kid that invites you to his birthday party to watch him eat ALL the cake, and you get none.

Mr Beeep's avatar

Maybe if he does enough ads he can get someone to call him “the trumpster “ Natalie would probably do it.
