Learning from the Pussgrabber-In-Chief?
Usually when we at Wonkette speak of Mark Halperin, we are calling him a sucky hack journalist who sucks. And that is a very true statement! But now five women have come forward to say that on top of that, Halperin is a grabby sexual harasser pervert, and as a result, Halperin won't be on your NBC or MSNBC doing bad political analysis anymore. Whatever will America do without his bad political analysis?
CNN broke the story:
Veteran journalist Mark Halperin sexually harassed women while he was in a powerful position at ABC News, according to five women who shared their previously undisclosed accounts with CNN and others who did not experience the alleged harassment personally, but were aware of it. [...]
... [W]omen who spoke to CNN say he also had a dark side not made public until now. The stories of harassment shared with CNN range in nature from propositioning employees for sex to kissing and grabbing one's breasts against her will. Three of the women who spoke to CNN described Halperin as, without consent, pressing an erection against their bodies while he was clothed. Halperin denies grabbing a woman's breasts and pressing his genitals against the three women.
Gross! CNN has the details from each of the five women. No need to paste them here, but the common thread seems to be that Mark Halperin is known for rubbing his penis against women all the time. Ugh!
As to his denials, maybe he should call Bill O'Reilly and get some advice on paying out $32 million settlements and blaming God. Or maybe he should just STFU, because we believe the women.
So, MSNBC and NBC have suspended Halperin, but this happened when he was at ABC News. Wonder what ABC has to say?
"Mark left ABC News over a decade ago, and no complaints were filed during his tenure," ABC News said in a statement provided to CNN after this article was published.
Thanks for contributing to the discussion, ABC. Did Fox News write that statement for you?
Any more context CNN would like to add?
Widely considered to be one of the preeminent political journalists ...
Oh for Christ's sake, CNN. Then again, this is the network that pays Chris Cillizza for his thoughts, so ...
Something seems to have changed since the Harvey Weinstein scandal broke, and women are coming forward more and more to tell the truth about what they've experienced at the hands of men in positions of power. If it seems to you like there's a new gross man in the hot seat every day (or more than once per day! ), that should tell you how widespread this problem really is and how long it's been going on.
We wish we could say this Mark Halperin news surprises us, but ugh, that man has always given us the heebie jeebies. Somehow this news just makes sense.
Anyway, GAME CHANGE. Did we say GAME CHANGE? Because this is definitely probably a GAME CHANGE somehow.

Winter's Tale was written by Mark Helprin. Here's hoping he doesn't suffer from too much confusion.
Oh thank you! I had totally the wrong guy. This Halperin guy is just some TV news guy I never heard of. And really wish I haven't heard of now. 🤢
