I disagree. The Newsom account tweets provide his allies a much-needed dose of humor. As someone who aspires to strike that chord as often as possible, I know how hard it is, especially now. In this case, the humor comes from satire, but so does most of the best comedy in the Trump era.
They only need to *look like* Newsom's audience's IDEA of Trump tweets. Which they do. (Much as Trump himself only needs to look like his audience's idea of a MAGA emperor.)
