Are you fucking kidding me? This will be TMI for the fellows, but God damn it on the morning I am set to get my gallbladder out, I get my PERIOD for the first time in 2 years?! I know it's the HRT, but God damn it if my body doesn't fucking such right now. Upper back pain from the gallbladder, PLUS PMS all weekend plus cramps plus the general mess of oozing red from my whatever. This has to be a fucking joke. No wonder I had a headache all weekend.
I had to have a full hysterectomy by age 42 due to discovering I was bicornuate, barren anyway, and an actual pregnancy would probably kill me if I didn't miscarry first. But one of the things I discussed with my OB/GYN was whether to go with partial or total. Partial leaves the cervix intact. They used to think it was necessary, but now they know it's just leaving you as a walking cancer risk, so I told them to chuck the whole thing. Those extra 2-3 inches gone mean I never have to worry about that ever again.
Now, if I suddenly have vaginal bleeding, I know for a fact it's a SERIOUS medical emergency and I need to go to the ER because my vaginal pouch tore open o_o

Talk to your gyno about it, even with the HRT better to double check after more than a year without a period if it returns.
Yeah. Menopause is supposed to be 1 year with no period - and if it returns, even from menopausal therapy hormones, that's no bueno.
It can be a sign that something serious is wrong, though it it isn’t definite. No reason to be afraid, but serious enough to look into with your doc.
