I'm surprised more teatards haven't espoused the value of the Horatio Alger books. Wiki adds best known for his many formulaic juvenile novels about impoverished boys and their rise from humble backgrounds to lives of middle-class security and comfort through hard work, determination, courage, and honesty. ...exercised a certain discretion in discussing his probable homosexuality... he introduces foppish, effeminate, lisping "stereotypical homosexuals" who are treated with scorn and pity by others...[despite] his dangerous erotic attraction to boys.

Sounds like a modern day Republican!!!

WADR, the more seriously he treats such a guest the more silly said guest looks. If Stewart goes all Bull O"Really? on the guy, the sympathy shifts and the minds close.

This is just one of the many reasons (say, like being funny) Stewart and Colbert are superior to Sheer InSannity, Off-the-Mark Levin, and their ilk.

I know Louis bragged about his knowledge of the Old West - if he writes the water in a creek is good, it's good, etc. - but this is just stupid.

Why in the world would adults let kids carry guns to school? First of all, most grown ups back then didn't have a revolver with them every day. And those who did knew what damage it could do and certainly wouldn't have let a child stick one in his pants on his way out the door to walk or ride to school.

In case you were wondering...

Shadrach, Meshach and Abendigo Shafter are people recorded in the book of Daniel Chapters 1–3, known for their exclusive devotion to God. In particular, they are known for being saved by divine intervention from the Babylonian execution of being burned alive in a fiery furnace. They were three young Jews, of royal or noble birth from the Kingdom of Judah, who, along with Daniel, were inducted into Babylon when Jerusalem was occupied by the Babylonians in 606/605 BCE, under the campaign of Nebuchadnezzar II, during the first deportation of the Israelites.

Amazingly, the kids with guns were all straight A students. Their schoolteacher found nary a fault in their work.
