I was so excited to read von Daniken when I was 10. It explained so much! And then I found out that other adults who do actual science thought he was a loon at best, which only led to more questions:

Wait, people are allowed to lie about being scientists?People can still print books even without evidence?Or which contradicts evidence?Do any of these lessons learned apply to my Southern Baptist church?

So... I learned a lot from von Daniken.

Counter-theory: This person is not real, nor is her opponent. It's all a scam by Big Something. I submit that no two adult humans are named "Dr. Winnie Heartstrong" and "William Lacy Clay". Why, that second person's third name is an anagram of his second name! How lazy could they get!
