Under 100 mile range and just over a 2,000lb payload.

I regularly haul 20,000-22,000lbs of trailer for longer distances than that. I regularly haul horse trailers 300-400 miles for competitions in the back country.

That chassis would be useless for my needs. That's the problem. AFAIK no one is working on anything close to a 1 ton replacement. 1/2 ton, sure. Even Ford is looking at a completely electric F150 soon. Full sized commercial rigs? Yes, but mostly for short haul at the moment because the battery tech isn't there yet.

I was thinking that depending on how far they traveled they'd have paid tolls. I just skimmed an article and it looks like they ended their trek a short distance from my friend's house and not too far from me. I'm sure the locals appreciated the extra traffic in an already traffic heavy area.

Washington had seen bands of volunteer farmers break and run under fire. He also saw similar groups of men who had been trained by regular army officers perform almost as well as seasoned soldiers.

He would have approved of our modern national guards. He would not recognize the so-called "citizen militias" as anything but trouble at best, but more likely traitorous criminals.

I was concerned about that also. But they are not too bright and probably too late to mess with Democrats(who have been voting early), they might end up blocking trumpers instead.

Oh, it doesn't mean that anymore. Now any old asshole can have a domain name with .org in it, including a bunch of violent dicks who ride around in a stretch limo, as is the wont of Truly Bad Boys.

Possibly. I think this is a tactic that has worked before when they do it in strategic locations, usually near minority neighborhoods. The assistance from police in some places is particularly effective. I am not in NY. I’m in NC. But I know quite a few folks who are going to vote in person because they saw the fuckery happening with sabotaging mail-in ballots. I’m curious to see how much of this tactic gets deployed in the states where they managed to delay or sabotage folks even receiving their requested ballots, who now must vote in person.
