Darling Evan, we love your fucking anger. <3

Ta, Evan. No Cleta Safari for Judge McBurney. Keep voting, GA!!

Wookiee Monster's avatar

Gee, a judge ruled government officials have to follow the law even if it doesn’t give Trump an advantage. Imagine that.

Runfastandwin's avatar

Why DOJ let Mitchell slide for all these years I swear to pete.

"M"'s avatar

A "bipartisan election foundation" gave her a JOB after her chichi GA law firm made her resign after her election-subversion-related stunts, for creep's sake

Geo Rethuglican hand counting votes:

“That’s one for Harris and three for the PAFB, none for Harris and ten-no-twenty for the PAFB, minus fifty for Harris and, and eleventy thousand for the PAFB…”

SethTriggs's avatar

Alright Georgia Dems - give these fash what for up and down the ballot!

Have your voting plan in operation; the flagrant voter suppression is only going to get more audacious from here on out!

"M"'s avatar

Congresswoman Williams was not about to let that seat she inherited from John Lewis go to waste

I read there were somewhere in the neighborhood of 300,000 early voters yesterday

And I saw footage of some folks standing in line, as cheerful as you please

SethTriggs's avatar

They know to mount up! I’m itching to do my part next week!

Why isn’t Mitchell in the Willis indictment? She’s THE LAST person that should be working in elections. I hope she get Tina Petered eventually. She needs to see some jail time.

Good for this judge that saner people prevailed.

"M"'s avatar

The grand jury RECOMMENDED that she be indicted, back in the day

It may be up to the rest of after we get through November to press DOJ REALLY REALLY HARD to consider why not

SethTriggs's avatar

That's a good question. Is she in another indictment?

These assholes honest to dog think that they have the unilateral right to disenfranchise whatever voters they want, in any number, because they want to. They're asserting it like it's the most natural thing in the world. It's just horrid. We need more honest judges like this guy.

"M"'s avatar

Because they want to AND BECAUSE THESE VOTERS ARE BLACK

and/or belong to other marginalized communities

You cannot leave that out of the analysis and arrive at the conclusions you need to fix the problem when 30% of the voting public and a disproportionate number of people in power in the United States are straight up Confederates

fuflans's avatar

isn't he also the judge who (temporarily) blocked the GA abortion law - and cited handmaid's tale. think so but can't remember and too lazy to look it up.

OT: Three billionaires gave Trump a massive cash infusion this summer [https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/16/politics/fundraising-takeaways-elon-musk-billionaires-trump/index.html]

One billionaire who has apparently not donated to Crooked Donnie is Crooked Donnie.

Of fucking course he hasn't. That's not how the grift works.

Also, too, petty much every penny that can't be claimed by the campaign has to go through a court-appointed supervisor.

The Donald, he's a criminal, you know.

Based on the DJT stock price, I think a lot of people are currently donating to Donold.

Is 'fondling' the same as 'fonduing'.

Don't both involve soft cheese?

FionaAnne's avatar

is that like fromage frottage?

Michael's avatar

Sounds familiar, I will look that up !

After a personally enforced sit-down due to injury, I am hitting the fiber hard.

And it is hitting back.

Oat bran, wheat bran, now apples, nuts seeds

...required additional fluid and MOTION, to work.

But Parakeetist can fly, so no problem. Me,

hmmm.

Judge McBurney looks like the result if Beto O'Rourke, Chuck Norris, and Mr, Rogers somehow had a four way and the genes combined in some way.

fuflans's avatar

i feel like there's a little jack smith in there too!

Rocket Cat's avatar

I only counted three…but most excellent gaygen clone there

Well, that just set off an unexpected party in my pantaloons.

Fun fact of the day:

Of the presidents featured on American bills, only two did not own slaves.

John Adams on one side of a $2 bill with Thomas Jefferson on the other.

And his son John Quincy Adam was featured on a $500 bill issued in 1869, which is no longer in circulation.

After John Quincy Adams left the White House, he returned to the House of Representatives where he proved to be a consistent foe of slavery.

Jezdukowski's avatar

I kind of expected this.

The ignorant asshole tried to steal our state in '20.

He pissed off a lot of people here in GA - INCLUDING some republicans.

One of them apparently is running a campaign to be a regional EPA head. That's the one who actually was at the PAB rally when PAB called out his three homies on the board by name at a hate rally.

That he is on the board while gunning for a position in a PAB administration is totally normal and not at all a conflict of interest.

RefillingThorsBeer's avatar

And if you vote for me, you won't have to worry about voting again.....

yeah you fucking prick, that is exactly what we are not gonna let happen.
