This seems like a crack in the immunity narrative too. Feds never have "absolute immunity"... qualified immunity at best. Also, when these dudes lose their (probably not legally funded) status, they're even more on the hook personally for defense. (Long stories how I know).

If he has internal bleeding, It's a stress induced stomach ulcer.
